Eazy

This was part of a workshop in Edenbridge. When I arrived, one of the students asked me how long I'd been a graffiti artist for and I told them 25 years. I decided to do a piece based on that.

I had with me one of my old piece books from the 80's that I carry around to give a view of different styles. I had a look through and adapted some of my old style letters to design a piece that said 'Eazy' (as in Art Made Easy).

As I was designing, I added a character of myself - kind of a self-portrait, to emphasise the 25 years that I'd been painting. Once again, as I was teaching, there was a lack of time to complete the whole piece, but it didn't come out too bad for 3 hours.

Phase II

These pics are from a workshop in New Romney for the Phase II Youth Centre.

It was done on the front of the building as part of a workshop involving 5 young people. As the day progressed the rain chucked it down and I got soaked through. I wasn't going to give up though.

Lydd Youth Set

This piece was created during a one day workshop in Lydd on 11th August.

We were initially asked to do a workshop with the young people involving a wall or boards.

Both Tony and I were I think, keen to get a fairly decent piece up as we hadn't done a wall for quite some time. We came up with a quick design and worked to the strategy of one person working on the wall, whilst the other taught a stage in the workshop.

It was great working on a brick wall for the first time in ages. I'd forgotten how forgiving it is when spraying.

Enrich Magazine - Manila

This is an article that was written about me when I visited Manila with my wife.

I had promised a friend of my wife's that I would do a piece for her when I came back to the Philippines. We met up, bought some paints and went over to her house to do the piece.

Her friend Mona came over, who's a reporter for Enrich, and interviewed me as I painted.
